If you’ve been looking into different alternatives to Legendary Marketer, then chances are you’ve come across the Wealthy Affiliate program.

At first look, Wealthy Affiliate seems quite appealing. Wealthy affiliate is cheap to join (unlike Legendary Marketer), they promise simple strategies, and there are a ton of blogs online all raving about how they’re the best thing since sliced bread.

And that second point is what first alerted me to something fishy…

Through not so much digging, not only will you find A LOT of affiliate blogs slating and scorning every other affiliate marketing course under the sun, and then recommending Wealthy Affiliate as the alternative. But you’ll also find that these same blogs are also pretty much slagging off any other business opportunity they come across that’s not Wealthy Affiliate, and recommending the Wealthy Affiliate program over and above.

Through further digging, it’s very clear that this is a strategy taught in the Wealthy Affiliate program – throw rocks at every other business course or opportunity, and then promote Wealthy Affiliate through your own affiliate link.

Hmm, kinda smacks of an MLM to me using shady tactics. 

I’ve also come across a few other affiliate bloggers who haven’t been fooled by these guys. Some claim that while the Wealthy Affiliate’s material was good once upon a time, they’re still preaching outdated advice. Take a look at this review by Niall Doherty of EbizFacts.  What I Like About The Affiliate Lab

As a member, I can tell you there’s a lot to love about this course. The training is thorough and constantly updated, which is a must for me.

I also value the insider’s info that Matt and his team give them members whenever there’s a new Google update. Having access to this info has saved my business on a number of occasions. In my opinion, this is also an absolute must if you’re gonna be serious about SEO.

The private Facebook group is also excellent. It’s a highly active and supportive community with members ranging from complete beginners to highly experienced SEO specialists, some of which earn well over 6-figures per month from their SEO businesses.

I can honestly say that this is probably the most helpful Facebook group I’m a member of. There’s always someone (often multiple people) in the group who is keen to help and offer insight, help, support, and guidance when needed.

In 2020 Matt also started a thread using a pole and asking each member to check which income bracket they fall into regarding their affiliate earnings. The purpose of this thread is each month a member from any given income bracket can reach out to a member who is in the bracket immediately below them (via private FB Messenger) and ask if they need help with anything they may be stuck with.

Basically, Matt wants to encourage all Lab members to help each other get to the next level. And you can also use the pole to see who’s in the bracket above you and reach out to them to ask for help too.

What I Think Could Be Improved

When you first get into the Lab it can be a little overwhelming as there’s just so much info available.

When I first joined I did find that the info was not organized in an easily navigatable way. However, in 2020 Matt also asked all members to give some feedback on how the course could be improved, and what other training they would like to see included. Since then, the organization of course material has also been improved.

Who Should Take The Affiliate Lab Course?

This course is perfect for intermediate and experienced affiliate SEOs as well as absolute beginners.

If you’re looking to make money from home or start a new business, then this course could be a good fit for you.

If you like the idea of building a website to earn passive income from while you sleep then I definitely recommend the Affiliate Lab. That’s why I joined, and I can tell you from experience it is an excellent course.

Overall, I give the Affiliate Lab by Matt Diggity 4.8 stars out of 5. The only potential drawback (in my opinion) is potential information overload. There’s just so much content in the course. However, it really just comes down to how you approach it.

The course is taught through video using a step-by-step training approach to show you what you need to do at each step of the way.

The course is aimed at both beginners and experienced affiliates who want to learn how to generate traffic and sales using paid ads.

Commission Hero is run by ClickBank’s top affiliate, Robby Blanchard, and basically teaches you how to promote affiliate offers online using paid ads.

You, like me, may have seen Robby’s very enticing YouTube ads offering to teach you how to make $1,000 per day online using his system. Robby also shows a number of impressive income reports from past students, which makes his method look even more desirable.

Who Is Robby Blanchard?

Robby Blanchard, the creator of Commission Hero, is an affiliate marketer with a long-established reputation. He’s also the guy behind Commission Hero.

Before Robby found success as an affiliate marketer, he used to be a personal fitness trainer and gym owner. He reputedly grew up in Massachusetts and studied at Fitchburg State University.

After a bit of research, I found his old CrossFit YouTube Channel, which you can take a look at here. The last video was published on this channel back in 2012.

Commission Hero teaches a simple, but effective affiliate marketing strategy using paid ads.

These basically the steps of the system:

1. Choose a product to promote on the ClickBank marketplace
2. Build a landing page using ClickFunnels (Robby gives you DFY templates you can use straight away)
3. Create Facebook ads to send traffic to your landing page. Your landing page will either sell the affiliate product directly or collect emails so you can sell people products via email on the back end

This is a well-known and popular affiliate marketing model that is definitely effective. However, you need to bear in mind that this is somewhat a risky strategy for the following reasons:

• You need to pay for your traffic (Facebook ads) before you make sales
• Facebook ads are expensive, and you will need to keep reinvesting a percentage of your earnings to buy more ads
• Facebook is trigger-happy when it comes to shutting ad accounts down. Robby basically says that this will happen, it’s just part of the process, so he shows you how to get multiple ad accounts approved

While both Robby and his successful students are making money, what is not clear is how much of the money they are earning is actually profit.

When using paid ads to generate traffic you will, of course, need to keep reinvesting a percentage of your earnings back into buying more ads. But how much is that percentage..?

If, for example, an average of 60% is profit while 40% gets reinvested back into buying more ads, then the system definitely makes sense.

Who Should Join Commission Hero?

If you’re looking for a solid system to make money online taught by one of the world’s top affiliates who actually practices what he preaches then Commission Hero may be a good fit for you.

It’s important to know that this system uses paid ads in order to generate traffic. You’ll need to already have at least a few hundred dollars that you are willing to spend on ads when you first start the course.

If you’re willing to put the time in to learn Robby’s approach, and you like the idea of being able to generate traffic quickly by spending some money on paid ads then I would say that Commission Hero is a good choice for you.

Who Should Not Join Commission Hero?

If you do not feel comfortable spending money on ads to generate traffic, or if you don’t have a few hundred dollars that you can invest into paid ads, then Commission Hero is not the right course for you.

If that’s the case then you may be better suited to working with an affiliate marketing method that uses free traffic.

Although building an affiliate business with free traffic takes longer, this method will be a more passive income model for the long term once it’s established.

What I Like About Commission Hero

Real Coach Who Practices What He Preaches

Robby Blanchard is the real deal and is making a lot of money online with the method he teaches in the course. He’s also the number one ClickBank affiliate, which is a huge achievement.

There are lots of courses out there that are taught by people who don’t actually use the method they teach themselves. Even worse, there are also people who sell courses that don’t actually make money from the methods they teach but are only making money from selling you the course.

I hate that!

Robby is not one of those guys.

Fast Traffic

Using Facebook ads is a good way to generate fast, targeted traffic, but it has its drawbacks.

High Income Potential

This method has the potential to yield a high income, but there are risks involved that students need to accept before proceeding.

What I Don’t Like About Commission Hero

The Refund Policy

Commission Hero has quite a strange refund policy.

Basically, they want to make sure you’ve been through the course and have actually tried to make it work before requesting a refund.

I get this, as there are a lot of unscrupulous people out there who will buy a course, learn the strategies and then just ask for a refund anyway.

However, what I don’t like is that they make you wait 12 months before you can request a refund. And then you need to prove that you have given the system a good go and have not been successful.

Personally, the refund policy is something I think they should change.

It Relies On Using Facebook Ads

The system relies on using Facebook ads to generate traffic.

Personally, I like to diversify my traffic sources and not rely on just one. Facebook is also notorious for shutting ad accounts down, and Commission Hero students seem to get quite a few accounts banned.

Robby teaches his students not to get phased by this, and instead, set up multiple Facebook ad accounts.

Having said this, there are quite a few students in the Commission Hero community that are having a lot of success with this method, so it’s not the end of the world if an ad account gets shut down here and there.

It Relies On Using ClickFunnels

Another thing I don’t like about Commission Hero is that it also relies on using ClickFunnels for landing pages and sales funnels.

Inside the course, Robby Blanchard gives you access to done-for-you funnel templates that you can use straight away. On the one hand, this is great because it means you don’t need to waste time building the funnels yourself. And these templates have also been proven to work.

While I do think ClickFunnels is great software, my gripe is that it’s quite expensive, especially when you’ve just paid for the course and you also need to have a budget to spend on ads.

Not a Passive Income Strategy 

This method is not strictly a passive income strategy as it relies on your need to constantly pay for ads in order to make sales.

Having said that, once you’ve identified a successful campaign that is profitable for you, you can leave your ads running to start generating sales on autopilot.

Commission Hero Pricing

Commission Hero costs $997 (one-time only payment) for full access to the course.

There is also a payment plan option, which is 2 payments of $597. If you go for this option then the payments are billed 30 days apart.

Also bear in mind that the payment plan option will also end up costing you an extra $197. If you plan to join this course you’ll be much better to make the single payment of $997.

Unfortunately, there is not a Commission Hero discount available right now.

I searched around to see if I could find a discount code or special offer. Unfortunately, there are no legit ones available.

I did come across a few websites and also paid ads claiming to offer a Commission Hero discount, but these were not genuine so beware!

Is Commission Hero a scam or legit?

No, the Commission Hero course is not a scam. The methods taught are legit, and Robby also has several successful students. However, the refund policy is questionable.

During my research, I also came across both positive and negative student feedback about this course. The negative feedback was mostly about the refund policy, the lack of support, and access issues for some students.

Due to these thee things, I recommend you do your due diligence before signing up for this course.

Commission Hero Best Alternative

I definitely agree that you can make a lot of money with affiliate marketing using Facebook ads. However, there are a number of risks and considerations involved.

For example, you’ll need to constantly be managing your ad accounts, and tweaking your campaigns. It’s also clear that Facebook ad accounts get shut down on a regular basis, which can stall your business until you get another one set up.

Using affiliate marketing you can actually make money steadily, reliably, and passively without having to pay for ads. This is my preferred method. It comes down to personal preference, you don’t have to agree with me.

Having read numerous reports and testimonials from people who have used Commission Hero, this course definitely looks like the real thing.

Commission Hero claims to be the easiest affiliate marketing system ever, but this is far from the truth. It may take time to see the payoff, but looking at the results a lot of the students are getting it should be well worth the effort.

Robby Blanchard, the founder of Commission Hero, explains that his program is not a “get rich quick scheme.” The training is designed to help you build a long-term, sustainable business. It will take time and commitment on your part.

Robby is certainly making money with his method, and a lot of it too. Don’t let me put you off if you accept how his process works and you like the above method. Overall, I’m more of a free traffic guy so I’m more inclined to lean towards systems that don’t require you to spend money on ads.

There are loads of affiliate marketing courses out there – some are very good, while others are a complete waste of money.

There are also several approaches you can take to build a profitable affiliate business. It’s important to choose one that suits your personality and other commitments that you have in your life.

Unfortunately, it’s not always easy to tell which course will be a good fit for you right off the bat.

Often, people get halfway through an affiliate marketing course before realizing that the methods being taught just don’t suit them.

That’s happened to me before and it sucks. I don’t want that to happen to you.

So I’m gonna break down the Affiliate Secrets 3.0 course here in my review so you have total clarity about what’s on offer.

Since I purchased the Affiliate Secrets 3.0 course myself I’m gonna tell you everything that’s inside, highlight the good points, and expose the not-so-good things about this course too.

I’ll also tell you exactly who this affiliate marketing course is a good fit for, and who should avoid it.

So, is this the best affiliate marketing course out there? Let’s find out!

What Is Affiliate Secrets 3.0?

Affiliate Secrets 3.0 is a complete and thorough affiliate marketing course, created and taught by a super affiliate, Spencer Mecham.

Spencer Mecham’s made millions as an affiliate over the last few years, and he teaches everything he knows inside his Affiliate Secrets 3.0 course.

Spencer first launched Affiliate Secrets 1.0 back in 2017, and he had a number of students who achieved a lot of success using his methods.

Affiliate Secrets 2.0 was then launched in 2018, which was an updated version, and refinement of Spencer Mecham’s methods.

The Affiliate Secrets 2.0 course lead to a ton of students having success with Spencer’s methods, which put Spencer on the map as a leader in the affiliate marketing space.

Now on its 3rd edition, Spencer has updated the Affiliate Secrets course once again with pretty much a complete overhaul of the material and techniques taught.

While the core structure of his Affiliate Secrets remains pretty much the same, the 3.0 version now has more techniques to help you make money as an affiliate, and a huge new traffic system too.

As Spencer’s method of affiliate marketing has evolved over the recent years he’s done away with a few traffic methods that he no longer uses. He’s replaced them with the methods that are bringing him the most success in his business right now.

In particular, these traffic sources are YouTube, blogging, TikTok, and Facebook groups.

While these platforms are his focus since he is a big advocator of building passive income with organic traffic methods, he does also have a cool AdWords section in the course for fast money. But I’ll get into that a little bit later in this Affiliate Secrets 3.0 review.

Who Is Spencer Mecham?

Spencer Mecham is a highly successful affiliate marketer who is best known for becoming the number one ClickFunnels affiliate.

He was the first ClickFunnels affiliate to break $1,000,000 in commissions, and become a member of the prestigious 2 Comma Club. Of course, Spencer used his Affiliate Secrets methods to achieve this.

Needless to say, he’s a ClickFunnels Dream Car winner. However, he’s also won the BuilderAll Dream Car and is one of the top affiliates for Legendary Marketer too.

His business brand is called Buildapreneur and is centralized around his blog buildapreneur.com, his YouTube channel, and his Facebook group known as Automation Nation.

Besides working in the affiliate marketing niche, Spencer is also in the cryptocurrency space and the real estate niche, where he also does very well applying his affiliate secrets.

Since first launching his Affiliate Secrets course, Spencer has also been directly attributed to helping quite a few other online marketers win the ClickFunnels Dream Car award through his training.

By now, if you think that the Affiliate Secrets 3.0 course is all about promoting ClickFunnels, it isn’t.

In fact, Spencer says in the course that he doesn’t promote them as much as he used to nowadays, although he still loves their product and actively uses it in his business.

If you decide to join the Affiliate Secrets 3.0 course then you, like me, will likely also be pleasantly surprised that Spencer isn’t even gonna try to upsell you on a ClickFunnels account as a must-have in order to make his affiliate marketing strategies work.

Nope!

Spencer Mecham still does advocate using a funnel as a core part of your affiliate strategy (free funnel software tool here).

However, in Affiliate Secrets 3.0 he tells you about several different software options you can use (including one free option if you have a WordPress site), all without dropping an affiliate link on you.

Who This Affiliate Marketing Course Is For?

The Affiliate Secrets 3.0 course is mostly geared toward helping you build a profitable affiliate marketing business using free traffic sources.

Spencer is a big advocator of search-based, organic traffic (Google, YouTube, etc) that you can put work into on the front end and will keep paying you for years to come.

Basically, if you’re looking to build a brand online that is mostly centered around using organic traffic and setting up systems that will continue to earn you affiliate commissions passively for years to come then Affiliate Secrets 3.0 can be a great fit for you.

As I mentioned earlier in this Affiliate Secrets review, Spencer also teaches a cool AdWords method to help you to earn some quick money with PPC (pay-per-click) Google ads. But this method is only a very small section of the course and is more like an add-on module for you to keep in your back pocket when you need some quick money.

Having said that, Spencer does say in his affiliate marketing course that a person should be able to make 5 figures per month using his AdWords method if they focused on it, so this module is definitely worth checking out.

Who Affiliate Secrets 3.0 Is Not For

The Affiliate Secrets 3.0 course is not for anyone who is looking for a get-rich-quick scheme, or who is not willing to put in the work to get the results.

If you are mostly interested in learning affiliate marketing with paid traffic then this course will also not be the best fit for you.

Module 1 – How to pick a niche (1 video lesson)

Picking a good niche is a crucial part of becoming a successful affiliate marketer.

This module delves into what makes a good niche, how to identify a good one, and then how to sub-niche down to where you can really hone in on your target audience.

Module 2 – How to choose good affiliate products (1 video lesson)

Unfortunately, not all products out there are good to promote. If you choose the wrong ones then you stand to make very little or no money.

Spencer Mecham explains the keys to using a lead magnet that solves a problem for your audience and will be perceived as valuable to them.

Interestingly, Spencer also explains that some of his most successful lead magnets have also been the most simple to create.

You’ll learn what makes a good lead magnet for affiliate marketing, as well as the 8 types of lead magnets that Spencer recommends.

Module 4 – How to build effective landing pages (6 video lessons)

Landing pages are an important part of a successful online business.

The landing page is the page you’re gonna drive traffic to. It’s also where your audience can opt-in to receive your free lead magnet (and join your email list at the same time, of course).

In this module, Spence teaches you about what makes a good landing page, what elements will give you a higher conversion rate, and, of course, how to build your own.

Spencer Mecham will show you a few different options you can use, and also give you templates for some of his successful landing pages too.

Yes, ClickFunnels is one of them, but you can actually use any landing page builder that you like. Personally, I recommend this free software tool here.

If you’ve already got a WordPress site then Spencer’s also gonna show you a free landing page builder that he uses (Elementor) so you can run with that if it’s a good option for you.

Module 5 – Email marketing done right (18 video lessons)

Email marketing is one of the most important parts of a successful affiliate business. Listen to any of the top affiliate marketers, and all of them will likely tell you how important it is to build your email list.

In this module, Spencer spends a lot of time teaching you how to do effective email marketing that’s not gonna piss off your subscribers but instead will increase the chances of them looking forward to receiving your emails, and then being happy to buy your recommendations.

Spencer shows you his email marketing platform of choice (ActiveCampaign) and explains the benefits of going with this company. However, he also says that you can choose any email marketing software you like, as long as it has reasonably good email automation and workflows.

Spencer Mecham sends 3 different email sequences to his list, and each has a different strategic purpose. These 3 sequences are:

• The soap opera sequence
• The affiliate sequence
• Shotgun emails

You’ll learn exactly what Spencer does to nurture his email list and build a loyal following.

He’ll also give you clear guidance to craft your own email sequences along with his own templates that you can copy.

Module 6 – How to use bonuses (4 video lessons)

Using bonuses to incentivize customers to buy through your link rather than competitors is a strategy used by super affiliates.

However, you need to get this method right if you want it to work for you. Offering crappy bonuses, or items that are not relevant to the main purchase can have the opposite effect that you’re trying to create.

In this module, you’ll learn about the 6 different types of bonuses to use for affiliate marketing. You’ll also learn how to create them, and how to use scarcity to further incentivize your audience to buy from you right now.

Module 7 – How to dominate JV launches (5 video lessons)

Joint venture product launches are a great way for affiliates to make a lot of money in a short space of time. This is how a lot of affiliate marketers get started.

JVs are a win/win arrangement between the affiliate and the product owner – the product owner gets a lot of exposure quickly, and the affiliate is rewarded handsomely for sending the traffic.

However, there are some important things to know about JV launches.

The last thing you want to do is promote a shady company that doesn’t end up paying you, or who doesn’t fulfill the order to your customers.

You also want to make sure that the product is the right fit for your audience and is actually a good product that will benefit them.

Spencer Mecham will teach you his JV launch secrets, which include how to find good companies to partner with, and how to make the launch as successful for yourself as possible. You’ll also get access to the email templates he uses for JV launches.

Module 8 – Pro Tips (1 video lesson)

Module 8 of the Affiliate Secrets 3.0 course is all about a technique you can use a little later on in your business once you’ve started to build a good-sized audience, and you’re starting to use more than one traffic source.

Basically, this technique is about establishing multiple touchpoints between you and your audience so you will have the best chance of reaching them with your offer.

Having this ecosystem in place is a huge advantage when it comes to doing JV launches.

Spencer Mecham attributes this tactic as one of the most important differences in his business that’s allowed him to win launches when he’s been up against other affiliates who have a much bigger list than he does.

Module 9 – AdWords for fast money (11 video lessons)

Module 9 is kind of a bonus module in a sense because it does not fit with Spencer’s core strategy and ethos of building a passive business.

However, Spencer says at the beginning of his course that Affiliate Secrets 3.0 contains everything he knows about the affiliate marketing game, and every strategy that he has had success with, which is why it’s included in the course.

Using paid Google ads is a quick way to get traffic, therefore, it’s a pretty fast way to make some affiliate sales.

Spencer Mecham has a unique approach to using AdWords, which doesn’t work for every affiliate product. However, once you find the right products (through the methods Spencer will teach you) then you stand to make a lot of money fairly quickly.

This is a great addition to add to your affiliate marketing arsenal and a great go-to strategy when you need to raise some fast cash.

Spencer’s made thousands of dollars with this method, although it’s not something he does a lot.

According to him, a person should be able to earn 5 figures per month using this tactic if they hone in on it.

Module 10 – Outsourcing (1 video lesson)

Once you start to grow you’ll want to outsource some tasks to other people as quickly as possible in order to keep growing, otherwise, you’ll plateaux.

Fortunately, there are several places online where you can hire a virtual assistant at an affordable price to help you with certain tasks in your online business. It’s not always straightforward though, and finding the right help can be tricky.

In this module, Spencer shows you what tasks he outsources, where you can find people, and how much you should pay.

Spencer Mecham even gives you his SOPs (standard operating procedures) that you can hand over to your new VA so they know how you want each task completed. Basically, he’s done most of the heavy lifting for you!

Module 11 – Group coaching sessions replay videos (8 replay videos)

When Affiliate Secrets 3.0 first launched the first 100 students were offered 8 group coaching calls with Spencer Mecham on key areas of the system.

These coaching calls gave the students a chance to ask any questions that they still might be having, questions which you yourself may have as you progress through the Affiliate Secrets training.

In the coaching calls, Spencer also gave feedback on landing pages and bridge pages that some of the students had created.

Each of the sessions was over an hour long and are full of great tips and insights that are not mentioned in the original part of the course.

The 8 live coaching sessions covered the following modules:

Affiliate Secrets 3.0 – Traffic Edition

Continuing on with my Affiliate Secrets 3.0 review, I’m now going to tell you about the second part of this course – the Traffic Edition.

Rest assured, when you buy Affiliate Secrets 3.0 you will also get full access to the Traffic Edition too.

In the traffic section, you’ll learn the 5 traffic strategies below. All of these are quality traffic sources.

When you first get started, Spencer advises you to just pick one to work with for at least 6 months. Once it’s established you can then think about building a second, and then a third traffic source over time.

In this way, you don’t need to go through the entire training material before you get started. Just watch the modules that apply to you and get started putting the strategies into practice.

Facebook Organic Module (8 video lessons)

This first traffic module is all about building your business around networking organically on Facebook (not by using Facebook Ads).

There’s a technique to this, but it is highly effective once you get it down.

If you’re the sort of person who enjoys spending time on social media interacting with other users then this method can work very well for you.

While this traffic method is not passive, it’s probably the fastest way to get to $5K per month. In fact, in the course, Spencer says that if you do it right then you can hit $5K within your first 30 days.

YouTube Module (23 video lessons)

This section is Spencer’s bread and butter as it is his primary source of traffic.

If you’ve seen any of Spencer Mecham’s YouTube videos then you probably already know that he’s a master YouTube affiliate.

In this module, you’ll learn all Spencer’s tricks for finding an endless amount of video content ideas so you don’t burn out.

Spencer will also walk you through your YouTube Channel setup, and then show you exactly what gets people to click your videos, stay engaged, and then buy through your affiliate link.

Overall, this module teaches effective white hat YouTube strategies. There’s also a video titled ‘sneaky tricks’, where Spencer Mecham shows you a few black hat tricks to get fast rankings on YouTube.

TikTok Module (10 video lessons)

Now, you may be thinking that TikTok is not for you, and that it’s just a platform for kids to post dance videos. That’s kind of how it got started, but it’s expanded way beyond that.

Now, there are people of all ages on TikTok, and affiliates are regularly selling anything from high-ticket affiliate marketing courses to real estate deals.

One of the biggest draws of TikTok is the virality of the platform. There’s huge potential here for even a beginner digital marketer to build a huge following surprisingly quickly just by posting short 15-60 second videos.

Spencer has made thousands of dollars using this effective strategy, and in this module, he’s gonna teach you all his secrets, including how he got over 1M views from one video.

Facebook Groups Module (13 video lessons)

Facebook groups are a great way to build an audience that loves your content and wants to interact with you.

Spencer Mecham has a very popular Facebook group called Automation Nation, and it’s become a great source of traffic for him over the years.

In this module, you’ll learn how to build Facebook groups the right way, and how to put it on autopilot so it won’t suck your time.

Blogging Module (63 video lessons)

The blogging module of the course is mostly taught by Nate McCallister. He’s a guy who earns a 7-figure income as a blogger, so needless to say, he knows what he’s talking about.

This is one of the most comprehensive modules, in which, Nate is gonna teach you how to build and scale a profitable affiliate blog that will help you to earn money online for years to come.

Nate will start with the basics of choosing a domain name, getting your site set up on WordPress, hosting, choosing a theme, uploading plugins, etc.

Once that boring stuff is out of the way he’ll teach you how to do SEO properly so you can rank in Google.

You’ll learn things like keyword research, analyzing competitors, writing blog posts, crafting intriguing blog headlines, building backlinks, and how to turn your affiliate blog into a lead generation and sales machine.

Spencer Mecham’s Affiliate Secrets 3.0 Bonuses

What I Like About Affiliate Secrets 3.0

Overall, I think this is a great course. Spencer holds nothing back and clearly, shows you everything you need to know to build a successful affiliate business.

I also particularly like Spencer’s transparency in that he gives you an under-the-hood look at his own business. He shows your various stats and figures from channels he is using himself (YouTube and TikTok for example) and teaches you how to achieve similar results.

Even though the initial investment to purchase Affiliate Secrets 3.0 is quite expensive, considering everything you’ll learn inside it’s definitely good value for money in my opinion.

What Could Be Improved

Spencer provides several great resources and bonuses in the course that are sprinkled throughout. However, I think it would be an improvement to also have all the links to resources on one easy-to-find page.

The course is hosted on Thinkific. While I have no issues on my desktop, if I watch any of the course videos on my laptop then the Thinkific layout cuts off the top and bottom parts of the videos.

However, I can resolve this by clicking the full-screen option on each video so it’s not a big issue, it’s just slightly annoying.

I also think the outsourcing section could be expanded upon. Spencer keeps this section short and sweet. While it’s enough to get you started outsourcing, most people will probably need a bit more information than what’s in the module.

Affiliate Secrets 3.0 Pricing

One of the best things about buying this course (besides the money you stand to make from using the methods taught) is that you will also lock in all future updates to the course at no extra cost.

This means that if any new modules are added, or if Spencer releases a 4.0 version in the future then you’ll get access to that too without having to pay again.

Affiliate Secrets 3.0 is the newest version of the course and includes a ton more training, ninja tactics and techniques, and ways for you to crush it with affiliate marketing than the previous versions ever had.

When Affiliate Secrets 1.0 first came out it was only $397. Then came Affiliate Secrets 2.0, which was sold for $897.

Therefore, the price has also gone up for the latest version of the course.

The price of Affiliate Secrets 3.0 is now $1,497.

Unfortunately, there is no Affiliate Secrets discount at this time. However, if that’s too much money for you to part with in one chunk then you can also choose to purchase the course over a 3 month period in installments of $600.

I understand this is quite an expensive course, so I wanted to give you an alternative option in case you don’t have that kind of money to front on an affiliate marketing course. It’s called the 3 Day Business Breakthrough Challenge by Jonathan Montoya. This 3 day training program costs $7 to take this training.

Bear in mind, that although this $7 course is great to get you started with affiliate marketing, it is not a complete training course like Affiliate Secrets 3.0.

If you’re serious about affiliate marketing, and if it is within your budget then I highly recommend investing in this course now before the price goes up.

And if the course is out of your budget then I recommend you to check out some of Spencer’s free training as they’re also well worth taking if you’re new.

Affiliate Secrets 3.0 Best Alternatives

Now you’ve read most of my Affiliate Secrets 3.0 review, you might be wondering if there are any alternatives to this course.

As you can see, the Affiliate Secrets 3.0 course covers a hell of a lot. It gives you multiple avenues through which to grow your affiliate marketing business.

While I do think this course is great (I am a member myself), there are a couple of other affiliate marketing courses (both of which I have also taken) that I can recommend if Affiliate Secrets doesn’t sound like the right fit for you.

Alternative No1

If you are naturally more of an introvert, or if you’re mostly interested in building a blog for your affiliate business then I recommend Matt Diggity’s Affiliate Lab course.

Matt’s course focuses entirely on SEO and building affiliate sites that can earn big money. And there’s also a detailed module about how you can sell your site for a large payday too.

Alternative No2

My second recommendation is for those folks who are on a tight budget.

Here, I recommend the 3-Day Business Breakthrough Challenge by Jonathan Montoya. This is a fast-start program aimed at getting you set up and ready to make affiliate sales in just 3 days.

The One Funnel Away training focuses on these main areas:

Do I Have To Use ClickFunnels For The one Funnel Away Challenge?

Since the OFA Challenge is run by Clickfunnels, then they would hope that you will use their software.

However, you do not need to use ClickFunnels for the One Funnel Away Challenge. You can quite easily follow along with the training and use a different sales funnel builder.

If you want to go down this route, then I recommend you use the Systeme software because it is the most similar to ClickFunnels, and it also has a free lifetime plan.

The Systeme free lifetime plan is more than enough for you to complete the One Funnel Away Challenge and start making sales. However, as your business grows you will likely want to upgrade to one of their paid plans. Having said that, all the Systeme paid plans are a fraction of the cost of what you would otherwise pay to use the ClickFunnels software.

Advantages of Using ClickFunnels For The Challenge

If you choose to use ClickFunnels for the one Funnel Away Challenge, then you will benefit from the following:

• Complete the OFA Challenge more quickly
• Have access to Russell Brunson’s sales funnel templates, so all you will need to do is tweak them inside your own ClickFunnels account to make them your own
• You can easily follow Russell Brunson’s instructions to learn how to use ClickFunnels during the Challenge

The downside of using ClickFunnels for the One Funnel Away Challenge is that you’ll only get free access for 14 days. Then you’ll need to pay for it. And it’s expensive – starting at $97 per month.

Advantages of Using Systeme For The Challenge

If you want to use a different builder for your online sales funnels, or if the cost of ClickFunnels is a bit much for you, then I recommend using the Systeme software platform.

Here are the advantages of using Systeme over ClickFunnels:

• Systeme has a free-for-life plan
• Systeme is the most similar funnel building software to ClickFunnels
• It also includes a free email autoresponder, membership site builder, and a blogging platform, so this will further help you save money
• If you need to move onto a paid plan with Systeme, then it will cost you considerably less than what you would pay to use the ClickFunnels platform

The downside of using Systeme for the One Funnel Away Challenge is that you won’t be able to pull Russell Brunson’s funnel templates into your Systeme account.

To get around this, you will need to first take a screenshot of Russell’s funnel template from the training video.

Then, go to YouTube and search for a free video showing you how to build a sales funnel in Systeme. Then, follow along to this video to create your sales funnels, and look at the screenshot you took of Russell’s template so you can create a funnel that is very similar to his one.

If this is the first time building sales funnels, then this whole step might take you an extra hour or two, so budget your time accordingly.

So, if you have the time and you need to save money, then these extra steps you need to take by using Systeme may be worth it for you. If not, then use ClickFunnels. ClickFunnels is, after all, still probably the best tool for building a high-converting sales funnel that you can find.

Is The Challenge Really Doable In 30 Days?

When I first signed up for the Challenge I was under the impression that I’d need to spare about 1 hour a day, maybe 2hrs tops on some days.

But this wasn’t the case….

I can’t remember where I got that idea from, but it seemed that a lot of other people in the One Funnel Away Challenge Facebook group also thought the same thing.

The reality is different, though.

On most days, it will take you at least an hour just to watch the daily videos, including Stephen’s webinar coaching call.

You then gotta do the assignments.

There are some days when the activities won’t take you hardly any time at all. On other days, they may take you an hour or two to complete.

If you’re creating your own products then you will also need to spread out the time needed to do that over several weeks.

If you’ve got some money to pay people to do work for you (as Russell shows) then that’s great, you’ll get them done a lot quicker.

Alternatively, instead of spending money, you can spend your time doing all the work yourself.

When it comes to the weekends, it’s also important to realize that there will be additional activities on some of them, but not all.

There are also some weekends that Russell has reserved to give you a couple of extra catch-up days. This is in case you need extra time to watch videos and complete the assignments.

If you’re gonna do the Challenge then I highly recommend keeping your diary as clear as possible for those 30 days.

If you wanna give yourself the best chance you can to have success then it’s best to schedule weekends away or plans with friends and family for the next month.

So, is the One Funnel Away Challenge doable in 30 days? Yes, but you’ll need to focus and commit to it for the 30 day period.

If you’ve already got a business up and running and you already have products then you’ll already be halfway along.

If you’re creating a business from scratch then you’ll need more time to create or find assets to sell.

Why I Signed Up For The OFA Challenge

The Challenge can help you to build all kinds of businesses.

It doesn’t matter if you want to create your own digital products, sell other people’s stuff as an affiliate, generate leads for a traditional business like real estate, build an MLM, sell a service or operate a drop-ship model.

However, it seems that most people join to sell their own products.

For me, I didn’t have my own product at the time as my main business model is affiliate marketing.

I signed up because I was interested in expanding my marketing knowledge. I wanted to see if there were more effective strategies I could learn that would help me as an affiliate. I also wanted the OFA Challenge kit and bonuses and was very curious to see what the coaching was all about.

There’s really so much in the course that 30 days seems a bit rushed. Personally, I think it would be better to charge more for entry and spread the Challenge over 45 days.

While many people do complete the Challenge and have success on their first go, some people fall behind in the assignments or get distracted by other things. Because of this, I think extra time would be helpful for most people doing the Challenge.

On the flip side, since the One Funnel Away Challenge price is so low many people do it 2 or even 3 times to either complete the steps they didn’t get to or to launch a whole new business.

After all, if you needed to take the Challenge a second time to get everything completed and launched, is $100 really a large investment?
